The seventh-ranked Tar Heels clinched a share of the regular season ACC championship with the win, improving to 16-3 in league play. The Tar Heels can outright win it with a victory at Duke on Saturday night.

UNC is now 24-6 and has won five consecutive games.

Notre Dame dropped to 12-18 and 7-12.
