Thorpe taken for X-Rays
Tar Heel Illustrated has learned that North Carolina sophomore wide receiver T.J. Thorpe was taken to UNC Hospitals Sunday after suffering an injury to his left foot.
Thorpe was taken to UNC Hospitals for X-Rays and further evaluation, and while head coach Larry Fedora refused on comment on his status Tuesday, multiple sources are telling THI that Thorpe has suffered a broken left foot.
Thorpe was seen at UNC's practice Tuesday morning wearing a heavy protective boot over his foot, and we suspect he'll be missing several weeks of action.
