With the early national signing day in the books, North Carolina signed twenty players in its 2023 recruiting class. THI dives into our regular feature where we take a look at where Mack Brown’s program really stands in the current Rivals rankings.
The Tar Heels gained two commitments this week in defensive tackle Rodney Lora on Tuesday and running back Jordan Louie on Wednesday. Those two popping for the Tar Heels places UNC’s team ranking for the class of 2022 at No. 25, jumping a spot from the No. 26 position before the decisions. UNC’s average player ranking increased to 5.675 from 5.672 and moved up to No. 26 from No. 29 in average ranking per commitment. And keep in mind, this is a different formula than what is used elsewhere. We go strictly by the Rivals points rating system.
